A leading UK infrastructure business is expanding its Thames Water AMP8 programme across the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire and Thames Valley. They're recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on projects ranging from £2.5m to £25m, based in Reading with mandatory on-site presence.

The Opportunity

Our client delivers critical infrastructure across health, education, highways, justice, defence, aviation, water and environment sectors. They've secured circa £250m of allocated projects for Thames Water's AMP8 programme running through to 2030.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead commercial management on medium to high risk and complexity projects.
• Manage subcontract procurement from enquiry through to final account.
• Drive monthly cost forecasting and internal CVR updates.
• Own change control with both supply chain and client.
• Supervise, mentor and line manage junior commercial staff.
