A brilliant opportunity for top level Project Quantity Surveyor who is perhaps pushing towards Senior level to take on role managing commercial strategy on live projects from tender through to final account. You'll own the commercial narrative across multiple projects, report directly to the Contracts Director, and work at the heart of a busy contracts team.

The Opportunity

Our client is an established, respected construction contractor operating across commercial, residential and mixed-use sectors on projects valued upwards of £10m. This is a proper QS role — not administrative, not junior — where you'll be trusted to manage the commercial health of projects from project award through to final account settlement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the commercial process from final tender through to final account, liaising directly with the client team and supply chain to protect margin.
• Prepare monthly valuations including variations, agreed actions, and forecast reporting.
• Produce detailed monthly commercial reports (CVR) for review with the team leader and presentation to the Finance Director.
• Carry out monthly valuations with subcontractors, maintaining transparent, professional relationships throughout the supply chain.
• Settle subcontract final accounts and produce end-of-project reviews.
• Contribute to the bid process, bringing commercial insight to competitive advantage.
